INVITES STUDENTS TO ESTABLISH A CHILD AND YOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

TIJUANA, BC TO 18 MARCH 2011 .- The Secretary of Education and Social Welfare in the State, Javier Santillan Perez and the Director of Musical Arts Center (MAC) announced the launch of selection process for the formation of the Child and Youth Symphony Orchestra, for which registration ends on Monday 23 May this year.

Aimed at students in the 2010-2011 school year in primary schools and secondary schools in the state, with an average of approval and preferably play an instrument orchestra and oboe, bass, flute, clarinet, piano, percussion, among others.
The education authority, at a news conference, said the project's general objective is to form a symphony orchestra, children and youth that will foster their children and young people a space to strengthen the development of skills, artistic expression and appreciation, use free time and help to generate the choice of a healthy lifestyle.

Students interested in being part of this process, they must register at the website www.educacionbc.edu.mx , which provide registration details, date, place and time hearing screening, and the repertoire to be performed in these hearings, with the deadline for registration on Monday May 23 this year.
